ABOUT JOSLYNN DALY

Joslynn Daly is a Detroit-born actress, writer, and director based in Los Angeles. After falling in love with performing while watching the national tour of Mary Poppins at the Detroit Opera House, she went on to pursue a career in the performing arts. She moved to New York at the age of 17, earning her Associates of Arts in Acting from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She then moved across the country to pursue her BFA in Acting from AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles. Her training includes classical, contemporary, certified stage combat (rapier and dagger), dance, improvisation, directing, and screenwriting.

Her recent stage credits include performances as Jess in Of Good Stock, Sophia in Do You Feel Anger?, and multiple projects with the nonprofit theatre organization: The Young Americans.

Her recent directing credits include the one act play, Life According to James, which she recently directed in LA. She also directed a stage workshop performance in NYC, which included selections from Stupid Fucking Bird, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, and Of Good Stock.

Her recent screenwriting credits include the short films Half the Credit, Dumbass, and Deep End, all three of which she starred in.

Outside of performing, Joslynn is a classically trained violinist with over a decade of experience. She was also a competitive gymnast growing up, which led to her found-passions of dance and stunting in her adult life.

Joslynn loves telling stories that balance humor and heart, digging deep into the emotion of messy, modern characters.
